SALES CONSULTANT & ACCOUNT MANAGER
FOR BUSINESS TECHNOLOGIES/MEDIA SOLUTIONS

Profile of an Ideal Candidate

The ideal "Sales Consultant and Account Manager" candidate will embody the following attributes and achieve the following best practices:

1. Industry-savvy:  Knowledge of the interactive media industry and digital technology solutions.

Job Description

1. Promotes and sells media, design and production services through direct customer contact.

2. Acts as an ambassador for the organization's policies, products and services.

3. Identifies prospective clients, schedules appointments and keeps an accurate record of sales activity utilizing Company's CRM.

4. Provides support during on and off-site events such as Third Thursdays in Thornton Park and other promotional event opportunities.

5. Consults with client to provide solutions and meet their needs, while capitalizing on current and future opportunities utilizing knowledge of the Company's capabilities, technical expertise and other emerging technologies.

6. Prepares and presents proposals that solve problems and speak to prospective client concerns.  Assists with developing marketing documents such as SWOT analysis, needs analysis, creative briefs, and marketing strategies for clients.

7. Assists in defining the requirements for client projects, and acts as a liaison between client ideas and recommendations from the Company President.

8. Collaborates with Production Manager to carry out and prepare the written Proposal including estimated budget and timeline for client's review and approval.

9. Confers with internal and external designers, copywriters, programmers, producers, videographers/photographers, and other media-production specialists to select media to be used, estimate costs, and carry out the approved project.

10. Reports consistently and effectively to a team leader.

11. Builds on-going relationships with clients and organizations to increase awareness and promote ongoing productive partnerships.

12. Must be able to work well independently and take the initiative when needed.  

13. Provides professional representation during on and off-site events, while continually seeking new networking opportunities.

14. Supports client project success by collaborating with the production team and project manager to manage client expectations and perform project management as needed.

15. Maintains long-term relationships with clients to identify on-going needs for providing services.

This position is based in downtown Orlando.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM 'til 6:00 PM.
 
This is a salary plus commission position.  Employer pays 50% of health insurance premium and offers other benefits following a 90-day probationary period.
