VID100 Foundations of Digital Video Production Featured

Description: Modern digital video tools including cameras and editing software have become accessible to nearly every would-be video production professional. In order to create a successful video project, you must first understand production theory and then be able to apply it using industry proven techniques. This course provides the knowledge you need in order to be successful in any type of video production. You will be introduced to the basics of pre-production, shooting and time code, logging, digitizing, editing techniques, and delivery.

Topics: Camera functions, white balance, exposure, gain, shooting formats and technologies, scripting, storyboarding, pre-production planning, time code, logging, editing, post-production, and delivery methods.

Duration: 2 days (or 4 evenings)

Level: Fundamental

Prerequisite: There is no prerequisite for this course.
