PG100 Fundamentals of Image Composition
Description: Through the creative use of composition principles, artists are able to create images that can evoke emotion, tell a story or make a point. The elements of these ideas are all around us. Color, shape and size are among the many components that combine together to make the image complete. In this course you will learn the basics of image composition, what makes an image have impact, how to establish mood, feeling, and how to direct the viewer's eye.
Topics: Rules of composition, simplicity, rule of thirds, lines, balance, color theory, framing, mergers, setting the mood, focus and depth.
Duration: 1 day (or 2 evenings)
