2 DAY Social Media Strategy Workshops - July 22 & 23 

While everyone seems to be talking about Social Media these days, few know how to actually implement a program that will capture customers and drive revenue for their business.  But there are actually plenty of examples of businesses of all sizes, in many industries that are successfully using these tools and techniques to do exactly that. This 2 day workshop explores how social media presents a tremendous opportunity for your business. Cutting through all the hype, it focuses on how to create a true social media program in a pragmatic, straightforward way, in a process that has been used many times for many organizations. Using this process, and understanding how it all fits together, you will be able to grow your business.

Overview:
This 1/2 day workshop explores how social media presents a tremendous opportunity for your business. Cutting through all the hype, it focuses on explaining what social media is and what the major platforms are. You are given lots of examples of how businesses of all sizes and industries are using social media to truly drive their businesses.

Once you have an understanding of the basics that are outlined in this workshop, our Social Media Strategy Workshop on day #2 (optional) will explain how the different platforms should be used together to create a full social media program that will be focused on achieving your business goals. The Strategy Workshop is held the morning following the Basics Workshop.

Using this process, and understanding how it all fits together, you will be able to grow your business.
If you are a beginner to Social Media, then you should take our Day #1 Social Media Basics workshop, which is held on 6/22/2010, the morning prior to this one.

Your Instructor - Murray Izenwasser
Your workshops will be presented by Interactive and Social Media Strategist Murray Izenwasser. These workshops condensed into two half days are part of his 8- week program he uses with his clients to create a world-class social media strategy.
Murray Izenwasser is a recognized interactive and social media expert and strategist, as well as the Director of Interactive Strategy at Biztegra, an interactive strategy agency based in South Florida. He works with local, national and international corporations on social media strategy and has been the featured speaker for numerous events and industry forums related to social media. Prior to Biztegra, Murray was Global Director of Marketing for Sapient, and he also served as Director of Client Marketing and Business Development at Razorfish, two of the world’s premier global interactive/digital agencies. He is a past board member of South Florida Interactive Marketing Association and he is currently on the steering committee for the Social Media Club of South Florida. A frequent speaker at industry events, he has presented locally on Social Media at Barcamp Miami, Social Media Club, Association for Women in Communications, Refresh Miami, Barcamp Orlando, PRSA-Miami, Social Media Club Jacksonville, RE BarCamp Miami, AdFed SWFla, and SITEFlorida.
