Description: 3ds Max and Maya provide an enormous number of tools to aid in the tasks of character rigging and animation. In order to use these tools effectively, it is important to understand the principles and workflow associated with them. In this class you will learn to set up, organize and animate characters in 3ds Max or Maya, focusing on skin and clothing.

Topics include: joint creation and IK, joint control, character control, posing, organization, modification, animation, secondary motion, skinning, facial animation, and manipulation.

Prerequisite: You should have a working knowledge of 3ds Max or Maya or have completed the "Fundamentals" course in order to get the most out of this class.
