Description: The DVD format has replaced VHS in the mainstream video market. With advanced interactive capabilities, DVD is the ideal delivery medium for a variety of video presentation styles, from motion pictures to tradeshow displays. DVD Studio Pro provides the necessary tools to assemble and deliver high quality DVD based media presentations. This course explores the creative aspects of authoring in DVD Studio Pro. You will learn about compatibility issues, recording media, video encoding techniques, asset creation, menu design, sub pictures, audio, subtitles, working with motion menus, and delivery.

Topics: Incorporating audio and video, utilizing still images, menus, styles, buttons, sub pictures, chapter index linking, subtitles, languages, encoding and disc image creation.

Duration: 2 days (or 4 evenings)

Prerequisite: A basic understanding of DVD authoring is recommended to get the most out of this class.
