Description: Maya provides an enormous number of tools to aid in the tasks of character rigging and animation. In order to use these tools effectively, it is important to understand the principles and workflow associated with them. In this class you will learn to set up, organize and animate characters in Maya, focusing on skin and clothing.

Topics: Joint creation and IK, joint control, character control, posing, organization, modification, animation, secondary motion, skinning, facial animation, and manipulation.

Duration: 3 days (or 6 evenings)

Level: Intermediate

Prerequisite: You should have a working knowledge of Maya or have completed the Maya "Fundamentals" course in order to get the most out of this class.
