Description: This session explores the integration of 3ds Max with Adobe Photoshop and Autodesk Combustion for architectural visualization. When used together, they become an exceptional combination that nearly completes all essential tools for the creation of still and animated scenes. This class is primarily intended for existing 3ds Max users looking to treat their renders as a post-process within Combustion and/or Photoshop.
Topics: Painting tools, Transfer modes, Layers, Render Elements and Selective effects, the Material Editor, UVW Mapping and more.
You will learn:
- Using paint tools to enhance a static/still render
- Working with layers
- RPF rendering and 3D compositing
- Different rendering considerations of animation and print design work
Duration: 2 days (or 4 evenings)
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Prerequisite: 3ds Max Fundamentals or a working knowledge of 3ds Max in a production environment is required. Combustion Fundamentals recommended.
