COM300 Advanced Combustion
Description: This class is an extension of the Fundamentals class in that features are explored in greater depth. Specific application of feature and toolsets as they relate primarily to the fields of motion graphics and visual effects will be explored. This session is primarily intended for people looking to further their skill-sets in Combustion. Included with your tuition is a signed copy of the Combustion 4 book by Gary M. Davis, your instructor for this class.
Topics: Paint operator, tracker, Discreet Color Corrector, Schematic tips and tricks, and advanced topics.
You will learn:
- Tracking and stabilizing (4 corner pinning)
- Advanced roto and masking techniques
- Nesting composites
- Compositing 3D render passes (aka render elements)
- Color correction/grading
- Film and video tools
- 3D compositing
Duration: 3 days (or 6 evenings)
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Prerequisite: Combustion Fundamentals or a working knowledge of Combustion in a production environment is required.
