MAX350 3ds Max Special Effects, Particles and DynamicsCourse Listing
MAX350 3ds Max Special Effects, Particles and Dynamics
Description: This course extends the capabilities of the 3ds Max artist by allowing them to better create visual effects. From lighting and camera techniques to the use of particle systems and physical simulations to recreate complicated phenomena, this course expands the participant's palette of visual techniques to produce specialized, eye-catching results.
Topics: 3ds Max particle systems, creating event-driven animations using Particle Flow, using warps, helpers, camera mapping, and lens effects, and building dynamic systems for bodies with properties such as rigidity, deformation and softness, and creating systems to simulate rope, water and springs.
You will learn:
- Visual effects types
- Creating and animating complex special effects
- Generating organic effects such as water, steam, bubbles, atmospheric effects, fire, smoke and explosions
- Volumetric lighting effects to produce fire, glows and flares
- Animating using procedural physics-based simulations
Duration: 2 days
Level: Intermediate/Advanced
Prerequisite: 3ds Max Modeling & Materials, 3ds Max Lighting & Rendering or equivalent knowledge required.
