APS211 Image Retouching for Architecture using Photoshop

Description: Whether showing clients different variations by changing the paint color on a wall, or compositing multiple photographs together to create a more appealing presentation, architects and designers have a special set of needs to quickly alter both major and minor elements within their photographic images. This one-day hands-on custom course will acquaint you with the tools and techniques necessary to move from simple photography to the complex visual language of photographic design. This session teaches you to polish your site photos, including embellishing the surrounding environment, creating time of day and seasonal changes, and touching up structural elements.

Topics: Getting to know Photoshop, image formats, standard retouching methodology, shooting and editing practices, warping and fitting images together, automatic tools and creating finished pieces.

Duration: 1 day (or 2 evenings)

Level: Intermediate

Prerequisite: A basic understanding of the Photoshop environment is recommended in order to get the most out of this class.
