DW100 Fundamentals of Web Design
Description: Today the web is a fundamental means of communication among both businesses and individuals. Anyone with access to the proper tools can develop a functioning website; however, you can make your site successful by being equipped with the proper skills and disciplines. This course provides an understanding of the requirements essential to the development of a successful website. You will be taught proper pre-production techniques, planning, asset collection, and the correct ways to produce a meaningful site diagram. This will enable you as a designer to produce a site that is effective, communicates the site's message, and delivers on the original concept.
Topics: Conceptualization, site map design, content development, graphics production, asset creation and management, page layout, site assembly, programming and delivery.
