Description: Websites incorporating application-level functionality, such as data retrieval, state maintenance and local storage management, have become the norm, yet these can be notoriously difficult to manage. In today’s web environment there is a need for web designers to incorporate increasingly advanced features into the sites they build. With frequent requests for new website functionality and old sites being updated on a daily basis, it is essential for web developers to comprehend the tools and techniques available for next-generation website design. In this course, you will learn to build sites with data driven information, robust content and style management, and proper consistency of design, forms, searches and dynamic information.

Topics: Server-side and browser-based scripting, XHTML, XML, PHP, JavaScript, cascading style sheets, form generation and database usage.
